Manufacturing Capabilities & Production Process

Since expanding the manufacturing facility in 2019, Yongkang Moka Metal Products Factory has added automated material-forming equipment, laser welding and cleaning lines. These capabilities help improve consistency, support different product constructions and prepare customized drinkware for international orders.

Stainless steel sheets and components are prepared according to the product specification, capacity and construction.

02 — Forming

Material-forming equipment shapes the inner and outer cup bodies. Dimensions and appearance are checked during production.

03 — Welding & Assembly

Cup bodies, handles and related components are welded and assembled according to the model design.

Quality Control Before Shipment

Quality control is carried out throughout production and before packing. Checks are adapted to the product construction, finish, logo method and approved sample so that each order can be reviewed against confirmed requirements.

Material & Specification Verification

Material, capacity, construction, color and finish are checked against the approved order details.

Leakage & Functional Checks

Model-appropriate leakage, lid-fit and functional checks are carried out where applicable.

Dimensions & Workmanship

Key dimensions, cup shape, rims, bases, seams and assembly are inspected during production.

Surface, Color & Logo Checks

Surface finish, coating color, logo position and print clarity are compared with approved samples.

Welding & Handle Inspection

Welding positions, handle attachment and visible workmanship defects are checked where applicable.

Packaging & Quantity Verification

Inner packaging, carton marks, quantities and packing requirements are confirmed before shipment.

Testing & Compliance Support

Compliance requirements vary by product material, finish, intended use and destination market. RakaCups coordinates product-specific documentation and testing support according to confirmed order requirements.

Product Testing Support

FDA- and LFGB-related food-contact testing can be arranged for the applicable product, material and finish when required by the buyer.

Factory Social Compliance

The factory’s 2026 amfori BSCI audit renewal is currently in progress. Updated audit information will be available after completion.

Available documents and test reports are confirmed for the specific product and order rather than presented as universal coverage for every item.

Custom Wood-Handle Coffee Mug Development

RakaCups developed a custom double-wall stainless steel coffee mug for a coffee chain brand. The project included a specially designed wooden handle, a wooden lid and an order quantity of approximately 50,000 units.

The Challenge

Wooden handles are commonly attached to stainless steel mugs with adhesive. Over time, an adhesive-only connection may weaken, creating a risk that the handle will become loose or detach from the cup body.

Our R&D Solution

The RakaCups R&D team worked with our wooden-component manufacturing partner to redesign the internal structure of the handle. Metal inserts were welded to the double-wall stainless steel cup body, allowing the redesigned wooden handle to connect through a stronger mechanical attachment rather than relying only on adhesive.

The Result

The improved structure provided a stable, long-term connection and substantially reduced the risk of the wooden handle loosening or detaching. The solution was approved for production and applied to the approximately 50,000-piece order.
